The Dutch Triennial of Landscape Architecture promotes landscape architecture to a broad public by organising a varied and topical programme of activities, exhibitions and events. The first Triennial was held in Apeldoorn in 2008. This event was followed up in 2011 and 2012 with a more modest project called ‘Groene Golflengte’ (Green Wavelength) at Radio Kootwijk (a small town in the Veluwe region in the middle of the Netherlands that grew up around the former radio transmitter). A new guest municipality will be found for the next event.
The NVTL has a seat on the board of Stichting Triënnale.
