Graduates of ‘Future-proof design through planting’
Congratulations to all of this year's successful students!
For the 10th time, we have organized the Dutch-spoken, 6-day course ‘Future-proof design with plantings’ together with the Ruyten Institute, in the Belmonte Arboretum in Wageningen.
In this course on designing with woody plants, perennials and native herbs, theory and practice are combined using specific locations in the municipality of Wageningen. The focus is on deepening knowledge about growth, flowering and decay of the plant material of borders, shrub beds, street trees and forest beds, and applying this in vision, design, construction and management.
Future-proof design through planting
The course focuses on integral planting methods (IBR), sustainable patterns, various rotation times, planting combinations and creating a sustainable connection between vision, design, management and organisation. The planting designs are assessed and the course is concluded with a certificate. The course is expected to start again next year, keep an eye on our news items. The course meets – for those registered in the Architects Register – the obligation for further and additional training.
