Theme 2025: “Web of life at altitude: living roofs”

Every year, Rooftop Revolution organises the Rooftop Symposium. This leading event provides direction to the conversation about the rooftop landscape. Visitors will be inspired and activated to get started with it. Inspiring key-notes, such as from Annemarie van Doorn of Social Value Foundation, provide a broad perspective or a new outlook, break-out sessions delve deeper into a topical subject and innovation pitches reveal the latest developments in sustainable rooftops. A panel discussion will not be missing and the annual Rooftop Award will also be presented for the most inspiring new multifunctional roof.

The next edition will take place on Friday 19 September 2025. The venue is NEMO Science Museum where a beautiful new addition to the Amsterdam rooftop landscape was opened this spring.
