AanmeldenOn Thursday evening, 29 January, Noël van Dooren will give a lecture on his insights after his first term as Government Advisor. He will, of course, explain the new council’s Shared Ground agenda, but he will mainly talk about six major “landscape” issues that are currently on the table – from nitrogen hotspots to the defence space claim to new visions for the future of nature.
The Board of the Chief Government Architect and Government Advisers (CRa) is a figurehead for the professional community of designers. It is also very active within the field of influence of departments and executive services in The Hague. These activities are not very visible to the wider professional public.
Right now, partly due to the publication of the Draft Spatial Planning Policy Document, the national government is facing some major issues. With this lecture, Noël van Dooren aims to stimulate discussion on these issues among professionals in the field of landscape architecture.
Rienke Groot, landscape architect and secretary of the CRa, will moderate the evening.
