Call for responses to draft report on garden history research
In 2012, the “Richtlijnen tuinhistorisch onderzoek: voor waardestellingen van groen erfgoed” were published. These guidelines from the Board of Government Advisers, RCE, KNOB, the National Restoration Fund and the National Green Fund were intended to further professionalise the careful handling of green heritage.
The guidelines provided guidance for the valuation of designed green heritage. Garden and landscape architects working in green heritage already had to deal with this on a regular basis.
In 2013, the guidelines came under the management of the ERM Foundation (Erkende Restauratiekwaliteit Monumentenzorg, Recognised Restoration Quality Monument Conservation). This foundation manages a wide range of guidelines in the field of monument conservation. The guidelines for historical heritage were given the URL 6001.
Over the past two years, the ERM Foundation has been working on a revision of the guidelines. As with the first guidelines, the NVTL was involved in this revision. A final draft report is now available. De vernieuwde richtlijnen voor onderzoek t.b.v. waardestellingen van groen erfgoed will be finalised in April.
