Programme & RegistrationNature is changing, and with it the way we interact with the landscape. In the autumn of 2025, the Academy for Landscape – a collaboration between VVM, Staatsbosbeheer and NVTL – will organise its fifth (Dutch language) learning programme on ecological mourning and active hope: How to deal with the disappearance or change of landscape and biodiversity as we know it and value it. Landscape quality and biodiversity are under severe strain, and nature development is under pressure. Together with experts, we will delve into themes such as landscape perception, biodiversity and the power of engagement.
This series combines theory with practical workshops and offers professionals in the fields of landscape, environment and nature the opportunity to look at their profession in a different way: what lies ahead in the coming years, how do you engage in conversation about climate change, biodiversity loss and species extinction? What is our role in all of this? These questions will be related to the situations and professional roles of the participants.
