Register, limited spots available!Walk with ecoDynamic and Het Plein on 24 or 25 September 2025 to visit two striking projects near the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht: Wonderwoods and Rabobank’s enclosed edible garden. Landscape architects Timo Cents and Marie-Laure Hoedemakers will talk about these high-profile projects on site. Timo was from Arcadis responsible for Wonderwoods and Marie-Laure of Baljon Landscape Architects for the edible courtyard garden.
During this Walkshop, you will stroll together with colleagues, get background stories directly from the architects and gain access to a location that otherwise remains closed (Rabobank HQ). We will gather at 12.45 pm at Het Plein (Jaarbeurs hall 4 – Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte) and walk towards the first project at 1 pm. We only have 23 spots available each day, as Rabobank is usually locked. It is therefore unique that we are allowed to enter this place with a group!

Timo Cents – Landscape architect Wonderwoods
Timo Cents is a landscape architect with a strong focus on urban greening and complex integration issues. As project leader at Arcadis at the time, he was closely involved in the realisation of the landscape design of Wonderwoods, Utrecht’s high-profile “vertical forest”. A project inspired by Bosco Verticale in Milan, with façade greenery up to 100 metres high and a roof garden at a height of 25 metres.
Marie-Laure Hoedemakers – Landscape architect edible garden Rabobank
Marie-Laure Hoedemakers is a landscape architect at Baljon Landscape Architects and has years of experience designing innovative, urban outdoor spaces. For Rabobank’s headquarters, she designed the completely renovated inner garden: a green oasis in the heart of Utrecht, which simultaneously functions as a meeting place, roof garden and edible garden for people and animals.
