International Federation of Landscape Architecture Europe

IFLA Europe focuses on raising awareness of the broad significance that landscape and landscape architecture have on society. It does this on a European level and is the umbrella organization for all national professional organizations, including the NVTL for the Netherlands. In addition, IFLA Europe annually presents the prestigious Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award to a landscape architect whose work has had a unique and lasting impact on the profession and on society.

The NVTL represents the Dutch interests at the annual conference and communicates via the website and newsletter to make the activities of IFLA Europe more widely known. We are the point of contact for education and knowledge exchange of the profession abroad.
The international committee, with among others Niek Hazendonk and John Boon, visits the congresses and reports about them on our site.
